Dr Naomi Graffin
Naomi dreamed of being a vet from a very young age as she has always had a special love of animals. She loved training her first Border Collie and became an assistant trainer while still at school. She grew up in Brisbane and moved up to Townsville to complete 5 years of Veterinary Science at JCU graduating in 2013. Following graduation, Naomi and her family lived in Dalby and Toowoomba for 6 years before returning to Townsville to be closer with family.
Since graduating, Naomi completed a post-grad course in Veterinary Behavioural Medicine before going onto further examinations in this area. She is now a member of the Veterinary Behaviour Chapter in the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists. She is fascinated by animal behaviour and loves working alongside owners to help understand their furry friends better and enhance their physical and emotional health.
When not working, Naomi loves spending time with her husband, 3 young kids, border collie and 2 cats which also keeps her very busy! They love exploring North Queensland and sneaking away for a few nights when they can for some outside adventures. Other hobbies include reading, playing the piano, Zumba and eating chocolate (all about balance)!
